Danielle Cameron


Danielle Cameron is Chief Strategy Officer for National Health Foundation where she shapes the vision for NHF and manages strategies to achieve that vision.

Prior to assuming this position, Ms. Cameron was Director of National Development at NHF for seven years and held multiple positions in the child care and senior services fields working in both program management and fund development. During these positions, she managed multi-million dollar grant portfolios, lead numerous community-based programs and provided consultative work in strategic planning, fund development and operations/infrastructure design. In addition, Ms. Cameron has consulted nationally on the development and implementation of intergenerational day care.

Ms. Cameron received her Master of Public Health degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. At UCLA, her master’s thesis work addressed the effectiveness of a childhood obesity intervention program at a free community clinic. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. Ms. Cameron is Past President of the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia.
